3. Znamensky a monastery
Znamensky a female monastery. Vosnesensky the cathedral is constructed in 1748, updated at the end of 19 centuries. Walls and towers are constructed in 1760, updated at the end of 19 centuries. By present time the monastery does not operate, the cathedral in which constantly pass divine services is working only. Some constructions of a monastery were not kept. It is located between the Lenin prospectus and east coast of peninsula on which there is a city Ostashkov.
